TadHealth Helps You Help Your Partners
Under California’s Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI), districts finally have a unique and clear pathway to sustain school-based mental health: direct unrestricted general funds reimbursement through the Multi-Payer Fee Schedule. The CYBHI funding stream represents a paradigm shift - for the first time, schools can access a dedicated and sustainable funding source for behavioral health-one that is not capped, does not compete with educational dollars, and directly supports student wellbeing.
CYBHI success is not limited to district staff. Schools rarely do this work alone. From community-based organizations (CBOs), federally qualified health centers, after school programs to wellness coaches, counselors, and referral partners, it takes a network of providers to meet the full range of student and school community needs. Partners have an opportunity to partner with schools and school districts and access CYBHI as well. That’s where TadHealth comes in.
We built our platform to ensure schools and their partners can thrive, expanding student access to vital services, strengthening well-being, and fostering healthier school communities across California. TadHealth helps districts:
- Capture revenue driven by staff delivering day-to-day services like counseling, psychoeducation, case management, and wellness coaching.
- Extend reimbursement to community-based organizations (CBOs) so school community partners and external partners can sustain and expand support for students.
- Gain clear visibility into where care is delivered, the services provided, student needs and outcomes, partnership performance, and which services drive reimbursement and impact.
This means services become strategic and data driven, with real-time knowledge that eliminates guesswork about partnership or program sustainability. Instead, districts gain clear visibility into what’s working, ensure accountability, and keep resources flowing where they’re needed most.

And that’s the true heart of CYBHI. It’s not just about short term funding-its about transforming how we care for young people by building sustainable, accountable systems that endure. With TadHealth, districts can strengthen their own teams while uplifting community partners, creating a foundation for whole-student wellness. Because when schools and community partners are both resourced, every student gains equitable access to the mental health support they deserve - today, tomorrow, and for generations to come. This is how we move toward a healthier and more just society.
