TadHealth at Wellness Together: A Powerful Week of Connection, Learning, and Celebration

Last week, the TadHealth team had the honor of joining educators, mental health leaders, and community partners at the 2025 Wellness Together Conference in San Diego. We were proud to support such an important gathering dedicated to advancing student mental health.

Thank You for Stopping By

Our booth was a hub of conversation—thank you to every district leader, counselor, and community partner who took the time to connect with us. Your stories continue to inspire how we build and improve TadHealth to meet the needs of schools across California and beyond.

We’re proud that TadHealth has been part of the CYBHI journey since the very beginning. Nevada Joint Union High School District made history as the first district in California to both submit a CYBHI claim and receive reimbursement, all processed through TadHealth. Today, the highest reimbursements in the program’s history are being led by Anaheim Elementary School District—also on TadHealth—surpassing $800,000 to date. These milestones highlight the real-world impact districts can achieve with the right tools, support, and partnership.

Our Panel: CYBHI From Theory to Execution

A key highlight of the conference was our session, “CYBHI From Theory to Execution – Challenges, Successes, and Real-World Results.”

District and county leaders who have billed CYBHI and received reimbursements shared candid lessons on procurement, scaling MTSS supports with wellness coaches and CBO partners, and expanding provider categories. Attendees walked away with practical insights—how to avoid pitfalls, streamline workflows, and turn registration into real reimbursements without overburdening staff.

Our speakers—Dr. Tim Reid (Nevada Joint Union HSD), Eric Lofchie (Santa Rosa City Schools), Violeta Mora (San Diego COE), and Jen Athanacio (TadHealth)—offered a roadmap to make CYBHI both actionable and sustainable. It was inspiring to see leaders across California lean into the challenges and opportunities ahead.

A Milestone Announcement from DHCS

One of the highlights of the conference came during the CYBHI session presented by DHCS, where new reimbursement data was shared. We were thrilled to see Anaheim Elementary School District recognized once again as the #1 district in CYBHI reimbursements, reporting over $800,000 reimbursed to date. As of the end of September 2025, TadHealth customers have accounted for over 60% of all CYBHI reimbursements statewide to date. Their success shows what’s possible when districts embrace this funding stream to expand access to student behavioral health care.

Building Community Outside the Sessions

We also had the chance to connect in more informal settings:

  • Leadership Dinner: A valuable evening of conversation with leaders shaping the future of K-12 mental health.
  • TadHealth Mixer: We hosted an evening of sips, bites, and great conversations on the North Terrace of the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Odysea Lounge. Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate the important work happening across the state.

Looking Ahead

The Wellness Together Conference was a reminder of why we do this work: to support schools in building sustainable, student-first systems of care. We’re grateful to everyone who stopped by, joined our events, or shared insights throughout the week.

We can’t wait to continue building on the energy of San Diego—together. Want to learn more about CYBHI or how TadHealth can support your district? Explore our services and resources here: https://calendly.com/cybhi
